Crisis and Recovery Identification
This project was partly inspired by the impact of COVID-19 and partly by the general crises that brands experience. The goal was to identify and classify moments of crisis caused by a singular event (Acute) versus those stemming from a series of compound events (Chronic).
Furthermore, by tracking the recovery rates of brands we could pinpoint those who were successful, brands still working towards recovery, and those who might never reach pre-crisis levels.
